Creek Therapy Dogs

Therapy Dog training is a cause close to my heart. Dogs can heal the heart and the mind with their love.

I have trained several therapy dogs that have done specialized training with me, taken their AKC Canine Good Citizen Test under me, and then gone on to take and pass their TDI Therapy Dog Exams. Some of these dogs are personal pets that go into schools and hospitals. Others are “resident” dogs at nursing home facilities.

Oakley (Pictured Right) worked with me doing private weekly sessions and was ready to take his TDI after 4 months. He now serves as the Goodest Patriot on Univeristy of the Cumberland’s campus. You can find Oakley walking campus, getting all kinds of pets during finals, or lounging in the psych counseling building.
